Do you need a great paintball gun?

New players to the game sometimes feel they need to get a good paintball and "good" equipment. That's not necessarily true. What you need is to get on the field and get experience, with any gun. You can also buy a cheap gun and turn it into a good one, with upgrades. Buy a Tippman 98 custom, there are a lot of things that you can do with that one. If you don't want to upgrade, and don't have lots of money, there are always used paintball guns. Personally, I prefer shopping on ebay, but make sure you know what you're doing first. Just get a gun and start playing.
