dont waste your time on tippmans and spyders!

dont waste your time on tippmans and spyders! proto slg is what you need!

OK, spyders aren't bad, my first gun was a spyder compact I bought in like 97 and it worked like a charm and I learned how to take it apart and change the o rings and so on. Tippmans are reliable, tough and accurate, but customizing them........ in my opinion not worth it and by the time you have the flatline and cool milsim stuff on it you've wasted money when you could have already had a tournament level marker. The Guy who wrote this article is probably a woodsballer so obviously partial to tippmans. Being I'm into speedball AND woodsball I can say get a Proto SLG! it will more than serve both purposes and honestly you'll be happier with a fast gun that you can play both styles with and you'll save money in the long run because you wont feel the urge to want to upgrade like you would with a plain old semi auto like a Tippman. And for all the woodsballers that want to disagree how many times have you been tore up in the woods by an experienced speedballer? I love coming across a bunch of milsim ballers who take their time to aim and squeeze the trigger and by then I've already put 4 balls on their head with my Proto matrix (the step up from the slg). Note it normally takes more than 1 to handle me. Listen, spend 200 get somthing to match firepower with anyone on the field and be able to play in more than 1 game format. One more time

Tippman (reliable, tough, semi auto) = good for woodsball
Proto slg (reliable, tough, semi, full auto, ramping modes, tourny worthy and legal if you ever want to try a tourny) = good for woods, AND speedball and you'll never be outgunned.
