Situational Awareness

by Chris
(NJ)

So, yesterday I played my first games of paintball. The sport is fun, but the first game I played, we were all new players. I was hiding behind an L shaped bunker with one side facing to the side, not to the enemy. I didn't watch this side and I was jumped on. Luckily, the guy was new like me and didn't lite me up like a Christmas tree in Times Square. He just asked did I surrender, and I had no choice. So remember, no matter how odd an angle may seem, that angle may be the one that is taken to flank you. As a side note, I was the last one alive on my team and I was versing 5 other guys.
