I would get a spyder MR1 it is cheap takes alot of damge(i droped mine in water and i picked it back up and it still fired the same it did before i droped it in) any way it is a great gun nomatter what you use it for

If you are new I would recommend a Tippman it is realiable nut if you no the game some what well I would reccomend the spider Vs3. I know it is not the best gun but it has a rocker trigger so you can shot to your full capability. The only problem with that is you would have to get a good hopper (recommend a cheap halo hopper) and that adds another hundred. So the Tippman gun is the way to go.

I would highly recommend a smart parts ion. They are an extremly great beginners gun and are amazing for the price. You can get a used ion for around 160-170.

I literally just started paintballing last weekend, and I bought myself a PMI Black Maxx Marker because it seemed like a good beginner gun. I personally think that its great, but 2 problems with it that I don't like are that the trigger isn't soft (meaning that instead of pulling the trigger lightly to shoot a ball, you're going to have to pull the entire trigger to shoot a ball) and everytime you fire a paintball, the co2 that is used to fire it comes out at the end of the barrel like smoke, so it may give away your position. It is usually priced around $50 (CAN) with only the gun and $99 (CAN) with the kit; mask, goggles, hopper, Co2 Tank, squeegee, 9in barrel and instructions. Overall, I give it 8.5/10.

I would get an ion, stock is around 200. its worth it. ive been playing for over 4 years. started with a basic cheap gun. (paid 6 bucks) it lasted awhile. Ive been thru 5 guns now, i have a woodsball gun (98custom) and a speedball gun (ion -- tottaly upped) whats nice about the ion is you can upgrade it as you play and the style of play, its a great gun for woodsball and speedball, and there is so many choices on modds you can get for it. i would tho whatever you choose is go to pbreview and look up what others say about there guns. also with any mods that you do look them up first, dont waste money on a bad part/gun. if you need any help email me at soutern@hotmail.com.
